kaDON Bayashi is a piece written by Kaoru Watanabe specifically for kaDON! Kaoru’s piece draws from many folk traditions that he’s had the opportunity to study as a member of KODO and with his work since then. Arranged for three instruments – a large drum, a small drum, and shinobue – this piece is certain to challenge and reward all levels of taiko and fue players.
