One with the Drum
A katsugi intensive in Chicago with Eri Uchida
For the very first time, Eri Uchida will be coming to Chicago for a 2 day Workshop Intensive on katsugi okedo, or the portable sling drum.
This intensive will feature 9 hours of teaching and learning by Eri Uchida, a world-class former senior member of Kodo and master instructor.
Eri will lead participants in not just basics, but also in how this style of playing uniquely connects with your body and movement.
This is the farthest east in America she will teach, so to all of our Midwest and East coast friends, don’t miss out on this precious opportunity!
